Compliance Basic Policy

We are committed to upholding legal and ethical standards across all our business activities, acting with integrity and transparency to earn and maintain the trust of our customers and society. We believe that a workplace where individuals think independently, respect one another, and bring out their best is the foundation of that trust--and we are dedicated to cultivating such an environment globally.

Compliance Initiatives

We are committed to fostering a corporate culture in which all executives and employees act with integrity and transparency. To support this commitment, we have established a Basic Compliance Policy and promote strict adherence to all applicable laws and ethical standards.

1. Establishing a Compliance Framework

We regularly convene the Compliance Committee, chaired by the President and CEO, to oversee policies, plans, and structures related to compliance. The Compliance Office serves as the department responsible for promoting compliance across the company. Working closely with each division, it monitors adherence to relevant laws and internal regulations, assesses responses to legal amendments, and promptly implements necessary corrective actions.

2. Strengthening Internal Rules and Training

We maintain internal rules and policies based on applicable laws and make them accessible to all employees through our internal portal. We also provide regular training programs to enhance legal knowledge and strengthen ethical awareness. In addition to onboarding programs for new employees, we offer specialized training tailored to the specific laws and regulations relevant to certain departments.

3. Operating the Whistleblowing System

To ensure employees can report misconduct or legal violations safely, we operate confidential and anonymous reporting channels.
All reports are handled appropriately, and we strictly prohibit and prevent any form of retaliation against individuals who submit a report.

4. Fair Business Practices and Exclusion of Antisocial Forces

We are committed to fair and transparent business relationships with our partners and take measures to prevent misconduct such as bribery or improper benefits. We also maintain a strict policy of having no relationship with antisocial forces. This includes conducting due diligence prior to entering any business relationship and establishing an organizational structure to prevent such involvement.

5. Evaluation and Continuous Improvement

Compliance activities require continuous improvement rather than one-time efforts. We regularly assess the effectiveness of our compliance framework and use key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive ongoing enhancement. Through stronger internal controls, accurate information disclosure, and alignment with our governance framework, we strive to enhance our reliability and fulfill our social responsibilities as a corporate citizen.
