The Company shall strictly manage and protect personal information entrusted to it by customers and personal information acquired by the Company itself. To protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, destruction, falsification, leakage, etc., the Company shall implement reasonable security measures based on internal regulations. These measures include establishing management systems, conducting employee training, managing access to premises, implementing access controls, and supervising contractors. Furthermore, the Company shall respond appropriately and promptly should any issues arise.

When acquiring personal information, we shall disclose or notify the purpose of use and acquire and use it appropriately within the scope necessary to achieve that purpose. Furthermore, should the purpose of use for personal information handled by our company be altered, such changes shall be made within a scope reasonably deemed to bear a substantial relationship to the original purpose of use. The altered purpose of use shall be notified to the individual concerned or made public.

5. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

As a general rule, we will not provide customers' personal information to third parties except in the following cases (1) to (6). Should it become necessary to provide information to a third party in other circumstances, we will notify the individual by email or similar means and obtain their consent.

In the cases described in 6. or 7. above, when providing personal information to third parties located overseas, the Company shall implement appropriate security measures and provide the information using the following methods.

We shall provide the name of the foreign country where the third party recipient is located, an overview of that country's personal information protection system, and information regarding the security measures implemented by the recipient. Provision shall be made only after obtaining the individual's consent.

Provision may be made without regard to the above (1) if any of the following applies:
  • Where the recipient is located in a country recognised by the Personal Information Protection Commission as having a protection system equivalent to that of Japan
  • Where the recipient has established the necessary systems to continuously implement measures equivalent to those required of Japanese personal information handling businesses
  • Where permitted by law

9. Scope of Application

This principle applies to our company's personal information handling operations. It does not apply to personal information handling operations conducted by parties other than our company (such as third-party websites linked from our website).
