Overview

Toppan Photomasks is the world's leader in microimaging technology - from the photomasks that drive today's devices, to the leading-edge designs that will make tomorrow's technology possible. We are focusing the time, resources and talent to keep our products—and our customers—one step ahead of the technology curve.

Today's leading edge semiconductors are subwavelength devices—integrated circuits with feature sizes that are smaller than the wavelength of light used to fabricate them. For example, many companies today are using 193 nm (0.193 micron) lithography tools to manufacture devices with feature sizes of 90nm (0.09 micron) or below. Photomask technology is essential to subwavelength manufacturing, as reticle enhancement techniques such as Optical Proximity Correction and Phase Shift Masks enable device makers to manipulate light to build these devices.

Toppan Photomasks' advances in photomask technology have become a key link in transforming this new generation of designs into working chips—allowing chipmakers to continue to use and prolong the life of expensive photolithography systems.
