Toppan Photomasks Receives Freescale Semiconductor's 'Gold Performance Excellence Award' for Third Straight Year
Toppan Is One of Four Suppliers and the Only Maskmaker To Win Top Honor from Leading Supplier of Embedded Chips
Toppan Photomasks, Inc. announced today that it received a "Gold Performance Excellence Award" for 2006 from Freescale Semiconductor for the third consecutive year. Toppan was the only global photomask supplier to be recognized for outstanding performance in five critical areas, and one of only four suppliers overall to receive the award.
The Gold Performance Excellence Award will be presented during Freescale's Supplier Day, Wednesday, June 27, at the Grande Lakes Orlando Conference Center, Orlando, Fla. The award event is held in conjunction with the Freescale Technology Forum.
"We understand the commitment and execution it takes to maintain a superior level of performance excellence in the areas of technology, quality, cost, delivery and service throughout the year, and it is especially noteworthy when it occurs three years in a row, and across our global business units," said Tom Linton, Freescale's vice president and chief procurement officer. "This award recognizes Toppan's continuing contributions to our success, and we look forward to outstanding performance throughout 2007."
"Receiving the Gold Performance Excellence Award from Freescale again is further confirmation of Toppan's commitment to our customers' success through sustained worldclass operational performance and service," said Dave Murray, president and CEO of Toppan Photomasks. "This honor is shared by everyone in our organization who helped meet the requirements of this leading chipmaker and valued partner. We appreciate this recognition and join Freescale in the expectation of continued outstanding performance and business results."
