Toppan Receives Samsung Supplier Award
Toppan is the Only Mask Maker to Receive 'Best Partner Award' among Overseas Suppliers
Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. announced today that it received a "Best Partner" award among overseas suppliers for 2006 from Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. The award recognizes Toppan's outstanding support for providing advanced memory and logic photomask technologies, enabling Samsung to achieve higher efficiencies in semiconductor fabrication.
Toppan, which has a history of successful collaboration with the chip giant on many key manufacturing projects, was one of twenty top overseas suppliers and the only photomask supplier to receive this award. Moreover, the award demonstrates the competitive advantages provided by Toppan's integrated global network of facilities and its diverse worldwide supply capabilities. The photomasks manufactured in partnership with Samsung required seamless collaboration among Toppan facilities and teams in Asaka, Japan; Ichon, South Korea and Round Rock, Texas.

The 2006 award was presented in Seoul during Samsung's "Partner's Day 2007" to Akihiro Nagata, senior managing director, Semiconductor Solutions Division, Toppan Printing Co., Ltd.
