Toppan Photomasks Receives Samsung Award for Supplier Excellence
Toppan Photomasks, Inc. announced today that it received the "Samsung Excellence Award in Productivity Effectiveness" from Samsung Electronics' Semiconductor Business. The award recognizes superior performance and customer support from Toppan.

As the technological leader supplying Korea's rapidly growing chip industry, Toppan Photomasks is in the final stages of its facility expansion in Ichon, Korea. By early summer, this expansion will increase the company's capacity to produce photomasks for volume production of 90nm devices. The additional clean-room space and advanced photomaskproduction equipment, including state-of-the-art e-beam capacity, also will enable prototype development of 65nm devices.
Samsung's Excellence Award in Productivity Effectiveness follows major recognition for Toppan Photomasks from several industry-leading customers. In 2005, the company received Freescale Semiconductor Inc.'s "Supplier Excellence Award," a "Spotlight Award" from flash-memory device maker Spansion, and "World Class Supplier Achievement Award" from AMD.
