AMD Recognizes Toppan Photomasks as 'World Class Supplier'

– Toppan Photomasks, Inc. announced today that it was presented with AMD's annual "World Class Supplier Achievement Award" for excellent performance and outstanding service in 2004. Toppan Photomasks is one of only two companies among AMD's fab material suppliers to receive the chipmaker's annual World Class Supplier Achievement Award in 2004.

Toppan Photomasks was presented with the achievement award in recognition of its consistently high level of support and responsiveness to AMD and Spansion LLC. Toppan Photomasks received AMD's World Class Supplier Achievement Award for 2004 during a ceremony held August 18, 2005 in Dresden, Germany.

"Receiving AMD's World Class Supplier Achievement Award is an honor for Toppan Photomasks and a recognition of our commitment to work closely with our customers and help them bring devices to the marketplace as rapidly as possible," said Jim Northup, chief operating officer of Toppan Photomasks. Earlier this year, Toppan Photomasks received Freescale Semiconductor Inc.'s Supplier Excellence Award, a Vendor of the Year Award for 2004 from X-FAB Semiconductor Foundries AG, and a "Spotlight Award" from flash memory device maker Spansion LLC for helping Spansion enhance wafer yield.
