We understand the importance of continuous learning and development to the success and growth of our employees and our business. The following programs provide our employees the opportunity to expand their skills and experience and continuously improve their performance and career growth.
Development Opportunities
Toppan Photomasks routinely considers employees for challenging new responsibilities and assignments locally, regionally, and globally. We encourage employees to take an active role in managing and growing their own careers. Tools such as career ladders are available to help employees take control of their careers. Employees and their supervisors complete an annual Employee and Career Development Plan. Through this program, the employee’s development plans are aligned with business needs.
Training Programs
Training for employees starts during the on-boarding process when new employees attend an orientation to learn about the history of the company and important focus areas of the business relating to their position. Operations employees participate in formal certification training that ensures they have the essential skills to perform their jobs.
Each of our production sites conducts an annual training needs analysis and creates an annual training plan. Courses are brought on-site for large groups or individuals attend off-site courses. The quality and effectiveness of the programs are consistently monitored to assure the courses meet the needs of employees and the business.
Tuition Assistance Program
Our U.S. sites have a tuition reimbursement program that is widely utilized by employees in pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree.
