North America

NIGHT SHIFT - Entry Level Process Technicians — Round Rock

* Must be willing and able to work an overnight compressed shift and must be willing to work Fridays and Saturdays, or Sundays.

Facilities Security Officer — Round Rock

Toppan Photomasks Round Rock, Inc. has an exciting opportunity available for a Facilities Security Officer located at our Round Rock, TX production facility!  The Facilities Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for managing the security program under which our company obtains and maintains its facility security clearance, including helping company employees obtain and maintain personal security clearances.  The FSO plays an important role in security education, training and awareness, in threat awareness and counterintelligence, and in helping maintain cyber security awareness and preparedness.  The FSO plays a critical role in safeguarding classified information, protecting unclassified export-controlled information relating to our classified contracts, and for reporting cyberattacks relating to this information.  The FSO is also responsible for security vulnerability assessments, self-inspections, and for reporting certain types of events back to the government.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise and direct security measures within the facility

Order Entry Specialist III — Round Rock

Purpose:                                 

 

Responsible for supporting the customer service function by inputting all orders into the company’s order processing system.   Reviews customer’s order specifications to verify that all information is valid and adds any missing information that is necessary to complete the order.   Perform several technical customer service representative functions involving contacting the customer to notify them of any production issues or delays that may affect the product’s status.  Also works with Primary Technical Customer Service Reps to improve instruction and documentation and to relay specific and reoccurring customer requests and/or issues that could potentially affect the customer’s orders.  Effectively relay technical information to customer and manufacturing.  Provide technical support to Customers including technical order review and daily statusing responsibilities. Active participation in process improvement project is a requirement.  Responsible for several iMask clean-up activities such as deleting unbooked orders and purging old engineering test orders.

Unix System Administrator II — Round Rock

This position will be part of a small team supporting systems and technologies related to the use of Linux platforms.  Diverse responsibilities include supporting storage systems, databases, virtualization and HPC. Responsible for the analysis, installation, maintenance, custom automation backups and upgrades of computer hardware and software.  Proposes and implements system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system, including security integrity controls. Equipment Maintenance Engineer I — Round Rock

Purpose:

 

This job consists of performing high level maintenance tasks in order to repair, sustain, and improve equipment and processes utilized in a photomask manufacturing facility.  The EQM engineer is responsible for maximizing equipment uptime and performance by studying equipment maintenance and reliability, documenting and implementing programs and solutions for maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment and by providing technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. The EQM engineer should recommend modifications and upgrades of manufacturing equipment and keep current on equipment manufacturers’ technical notes, upgrades and safety concerns. To maintain equipment reliability, the EQM engineer will also perform electrical / mechanical troubleshooting to determine root cause of problems, perform preventative maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment, and provide input to improving preventive maintenance schedule and tasks.

 

In conjunction with production demands and equipment availability, EQM engineer may be required to use test and diagnostic equipment to perform troubleshooting and repairs; and dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and installing equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, and drawings.  Sourcing, purchasing and managing spare parts is also a vital role in sustaining this equipment. EQM engineer will also need to form relationships and work with outside vendors to obtain parts and/or troubleshoot technical problems. This job requires working closely with Engineering and Manufacturing functions to fully understand production and engineering needs in order to make detailed, documented suggestions for equipment and process improvements, and adhering to Management of Change processes for implementation.

 

The EQM engineer will also utilize statistical process control (SPC) fundamentals in order to create and maintain process controls, quantify equipment performance, make tool corrections for deviations in performance, and to drive equipment reliability. The EQM engineer will also provide technical training and guidance to EQM technicians, process engineers and/or manufacturing as needed.

 

Responsibilities of this job may also include the handling of hazardous chemicals, working on equipment that uses hazardous chemicals, and maintaining a high standard of safety while performing job tasks. Depending on incoming skill level this job also may be specific to one or more tool sets within the manufacturing site.  

 

 

Knowledge/Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years equipment maintenance experience within the Semiconductor/Electronics Industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of clean room equipment maintenance, involving precision test equipment and electrical schematics, ISO 9000 standards and associated documentation practices.
  • Knowledge of SPC techniques and WINSPC system.
  • College degree in Engineering or related field.  Equivalent experience may substitute for degree.
