North America

NIGHT SHIFT - Entry Level Process Technicians — Round Rock

Process Engineer — Round Rock

The Toppan Photomasks (Round Rock, TX) engineering group is hiring in the back end of line (BEOL).  

Defect free photomasks are an industry requirement.  To obtain this top quality, the back end of line manufacturing uses multiple steps which include photomask cleaning, photomask automated inspection, photomask nano repair, photomask repair validation (AIMS verification platform) and applying a protective membrane above the customer masking design. 

In order to be successful, the photomask processes need to be optimized in order to meet changing customer quality requirements. Photomasks are unique and so are our customers.

The open position offered is related to photo-resist stripping, intermediate cleaning and final cleaning.

The position will require a full understanding of the cleaning processes and equipment used in the mask making for the products to meet specifications.  The candidate will be required to continuously improve the module KPI metrics and improve the yield.  Also, the position challenges will require the candidate to generate and maintain standard operating procedures as well as training manufacturing technicians to ensure they are followed.

Since the position is to support 24/7 manufacturing needs, the position will require off hours support in case of emergencies.  The position may require occasional travel in the US and abroad.

Production Control Manufacturing Data Analyst — San Jose

Purpose:

 

This role will work to understand, participate in, and improve Production Control processes through automation and data analysis.  Integrates and analyzes a variety of different Manufacturing data sets and extracts useful information to assist in driving improvements to global manufacturing processes and global profitability.  Creates concise and meaningful reports and presentations for site, regional, and global management.

Weekend Sustaining Engineer — Round Rock

 

Purpose:

The primary role of this position is to provide weekend support for Front End of Line (FEOL) engineering functions.  The candidate will initially spend time in a variety of engineering job functions to learn the mask making process.  This initial period includes weekend work with operations to learn the manufacturing processes.  Success in this role depends on an individual that can quickly contain issues, work effectively with the teams, and ultimately reduce the need for weekend sustaining coverage.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and respond to process inputs and outputs for all FEOL tools (lithography, develop, bake, plasma etch, and metrology). 
  • Be the primary point of contact for FEOL engineering support over the weekend.
  • Implement improvement plans to maximize output (high utilization and low cycle time) and meet quality requirements while minimizing causes of production line interruptions. 
  • Interface with applications, process, operations, maintenance, and facilities teams to capture the result. 
  • Identify best practices, document them, and train operations in execution.

Equipment Maintenance Technician — Round Rock

Purpose:

This job consists of performing various maintenance tasks in order to repair, sustain, and improve equipment and processes utilized in a photomask manufacturing facility.  The EQM technician is responsible for maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment by performing electrical / mechanical troubleshooting to determine root cause of problems;  performing preventative maintenance tasks on manufacturing equipment in conjunction with production demands and equipment availability; using test and diagnostic equipment to perform troubleshooting and repairs; and dismantling, adjusting, repairing, and installing equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, and drawings.  Sourcing, purchasing and managing spare parts is also a vital role in sustaining this equipment. EQM technicians will also need to form relationships and work with outside vendors to obtain parts and/or troubleshoot technical problems. This job requires working closely with Engineering and Manufacturing functions to fully understand production and engineering needs in order to make detailed, documented suggestions for equipment and process improvements, and adhering to Management of Change processes for implementation.  The EQM technician will also utilize statistical process control (SPC) fundamentals in order to create and maintain process controls, quantify equipment performance, make tool corrections for deviations in performance, and to drive equipment reliability. The EQM technician will also provide technical training and guidance to process engineers and/or manufacturing as needed. This job does require the need to carry a pager and may require being involved in an “On-Call” rotation per departmental policy.  Responsibilities of this job also include the handling of hazardous chemicals, working on equipment that uses hazardous chemicals, and maintaining a high standard of safety while performing job tasks. Depending on incoming skill level this job also may be specific to one or more tool sets within the manufacturing site.

Responsibilities include the following:

Material Handler I — Round Rock

Purpose:

 

Responsible for performing one or more of the following tasks involved in the shipping and/or distributing of parts, supplies, and small equipment or receiving and inspecting all incoming shipments and distributions to appropriate personnel. 

 

Prepares records and maintains documentation of materials to be shipped.  Prepares products for final shipment, determines “readiness” status and prioritizes shipping and delivery schedules based on customer needs, including determining delivery alternatives.  Recognizes and communicates to customer service personnel potential problems that would delay shipments to customers.

 

Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders/invoices, maintains records, and completes proper documentation of receiving goods, and rejects unsatisfactory items when necessary.   Performs Oracle inventory movements.  Pulls and delivers materials requested by the lab.  Works with Supply Chain Representatives to maintain proper inventory levels.  Maintains stock and inventory levels in burn room / chemical storage rooms.  Lifts heavy items up to 50 pounds and operates a forklift.

As part of the ongoing roll-out of its continuous improvement process, Toppan Photomasks France S.A.S. is looking for a Process Engineer.

Main missions

Responsible for the technical support of part of the manufacturing process, under the responsibility of the Engineering Manager and in close collaboration with your colleagues (engineers, technical supports, maintenance team, etc. locally and abroad) you will be assigned of the following missions:

  • Design, technical validation and development of manufacturing processes
  • Provide strong proposals for the improvement and optimization of manufacturing processes
  • Optimize the existing production processes and the search for technical and effective solutions in a continuous improvement manner
  • Provide training / technical support to production teams on a daily basis in the production line
  • Daily operational support and teamwork with maintenance team on the equipment fleet in the production line to ensure production activity continuity

Required profile

  • Master degree 2/ Engineering diploma in Physics/Chemistry/Engineering
  • A 3 years minimum professional experience in the clean room industry (microelectronics / masks) or as process engineer in industry is recommended
  • Strong knowledge of continuous improvement methods and analysis methodology (8D, 5x why, Ishikawa diagram…)
  • Good knowledge of process and quality control methods such as SPC
  • Good team spirit, curiosity, autonomy, reactivity, daily task priority management required
  • Demonstrate a high affinity for working in international teams.
  • You exhibit a strong analytical and systematic style when facing new challenges.
  • Fluent in English mandatory

Recrutement:

  • Gérer en toute autonomie le processus de recrutement des intérimaires de la definition du besoin avec le managerjusqu’à l’intégration du candidat


Paie et Administration du personnel:

  • Gérer la gestion des temps et activités du personnel sur l’outil OCTIME
  • Suivi des arrêts maladie et des dossiers prévoyances
  • Suivi des visites médicales
  • Participer au contrôle des paies et gérer la relation avec le cabinet en charge de la réalisation des paies
  • Rédiger les contrats de travail, avenant et réaliser toutes les démarches administratives liées à l’intégration et évolution du collaborateur
  • Gérer le suivi administratif des intérimaires (saisie des heures hebdomadaires, relation avec le prestataire, contrôle de la facturation, gestion des indemnités kilométriques…)
  • Mettre à jour des tableaux de suivi d’activités RH

Généraliste et projets transverses:

  • Répondre aux demandes des opérationnels sur tous les domaines afférents aux Ressources Humaines
  • Accompagner les managers dans la gestion de leurs collaborateurs (recrutement, gestion des carrières, disciplinaires...)
  • Participer à l'élaboration et suivi des process RH;
  • Recenser les besoins formation et participer à la réalisation du plan de développement des compétences
  • Effectuer et mettre à jour des reportings concernant l’activité RH (BDES)
  • Participer au bon fonctionnement des relations avec les IRP et contribuer au maintien d’un bon climat social
  • Participer aux missions RGPD et Hygiène et Sécurité en lien avec l’UE

Expériences professionnelles:

  • Au moins 2 ans d'expérience dans la fonction RH, de préference dans le secteur de l’industrie ou dans un environnement de fabrication de haute technologie.
